joelswfc
Walked around the ground at FT with his hands up acknowledging his mistake. Big respect to him for that. Lets hope all the players are inspired this week to make this shocking situation right.
Roy Of The Roasters
You can't crucify a player for a single mistake. He's been decent for us in the last couple of games and right now we need him motivated and confident.

McRightSide
He wasn’t the only one at fault for that, Wildsmith equally culpable.
Shetland Owl
Well the Barnsley game will be a nail biter. We will at least see some changes, they have all played well over recent games, don't forget this is really our reserve side
Owl Rly
That’s good to hear. I think that is one of the worst defensive howlers I have seen for Wednesday. Maybe the Beevers own goal also (but at least it was a decent finish!) Edited February 3, 2018 by Owl Rly Damn predictive text
BarnsleyOwl96
He’s been solid for us overall so can’t complain at all
Jowl
PLayers make mistakes. He held his hands up to it at the time and got on with it. I don't blame him - neither to I blame Wildsmith for the 2nd. It happens. Wildsmith's awful kicking I do complain at though - put us under pressure every time
marshy
Think Joe's been fantastic, but he was at fault for both imho. He should have made the call Bad day at the office all round.
WalthamOwl
Fair play to him. He’s one of the few I would keep out of the current starting team.

But even if he did and Venancio wasn't sure, he should have put the ball in Row Z. the fact Venancio held up his hands straight away says its his fault. Birley Owl 1867
Was an awful mistake. But at least he knows. Not Wildsmith's fault in any way the first one, could tell he'd shouted for it. Second wouldn't have gone in either had his confidence not been shot from the first. Bad day at office all round.
Adam Reachs left peg
Venancio been one of the better players of late makes one mistake and some fans say get rid at least he has the balls to admit the mistake

He can't have shouted loud enough and he should have gone towards the ball not away from it. Felt really sorry for him though.
Andrew_Owl
Forgave him as soon as he did that. Earned a lot more respect, a lot of players would have gone straight down the tunnel. Hope he forgets about it and is back to his former self next week.
pressy
No player makes mistakes on purpose we need to remember how solid we have looked and take it on the chin and move on
Stoop
Felt abit sorry for him cos when he got to the kop everyone was booing cos the ‘referee’ was walking down the tunnel. He probably thought we were all booing him
