The atmosphere at Hillsborough is often lacking - in my view that's been true for decades. Playing well in a big game putting pressure on as we attack the Kop it is awesome - but when it's 0-0 on a Tuesday night at home to QPR we are awfully flat. Yes it's for the team to lift the crowd, but it's also for the crowd to lift the team. The most inspirational home supports are at their best when on the pitch it's not working. In fairness most English home supports are a bit like that, but it doesn't mean we need to be. Imagine the atmosphere at these points without them. They certainly get the north stand singing part of the time cos you can hear the drum / trumpet start a beat or a tune up. Keep them.
