Players should hang their heads in shame!

Not a disaster, just embarrassing that we cannot score a goal with the amount our strikers have cost, even the ones we have available at the moment

So would you rather we have lost 5-4 in those last few games?

The main thing isn’t the lack of goal. It’s that Jos has come in, seen the lack of discipline and is tackling it. He’s shores up a defence which leaked 3 against Burton and Boro at home and has picked up valuable points.

The goal drought will fix itself once Hooper and Forestieri are back.

We are heading in the right direction.

Jos has concentrated on the defence and has sorted it out, we have embarked on a new formation and we are playing without many of our first team players. We will start scoring goals, we have picked up points from top teams, something which didn't look likely under Carlos. We are heading in the right direction, just give Jos the time and more players are back soon

We have gone an entire calendar month without scoring a league goal. Absolutely pathetic if you think about it. Yes last night's point at Middlesbrough and arguably the point at Brammall Lane were good points, but the fact we didn't score in either of them, let alone manage a goal against Burton or Cardiff is frankly pathetic. With the amount of strikers we have, even in the current injury crisis, the strikers we have must have a combined transfer total of about £20million. The fact that not one of them could manage a goal all month is embarassing to the club. We must go and score at least on Saturday. The defence has done it's part (except Burton, which I will excuse as it wasn't under Luhukay) but our attack is so painful to watch. Rhodes, Joao, Matias and Nuhiu should be able to manage 1 goal per month between them, come on.

For some people talking out of their arse comes naturally ! lol

Playing for a point makes sense in the circumstances we find ourselves especially against the likes of borough away, no worries yet....2 or 3 players back we should see the real intentions. This season is foooked league wise anyhow, the cup is a nice distraction. If we can get past swansea/notts county, hopefully by the quarters we will be near to our best 11 and then we may show some real ambition and play a weakened side in the league and concentrate on the cup.

If we still play not lose football when most are fit then it will be time for melt down 2. lol

Might have something to do with the team focussing on defending, keeping a clean sheet, bonding as a team, and avoiding relegation possibilities whilst also accommodating new players, helping the younger players come in and do a job, having a new manager, with new techniques, strategies and ways of playing whilst remaining safe in the Championship at all costs.

All whilst progressing nicely through the FA Cup rounds

What you've said in the above is all right, however to stay up we'll need to win a few games. We can't draw our way to safety (ok we probably can on 33 points with 17 to play, but risky)

At some point we might have to go and and get goals, and it might have to be without Hooper and FF.

At some point 5-3-2 or 5-4-1 may have to go genuinely go to 3-5-2. I guess Jos will decide when we need to risk goals for goals.

You mean like over the season so far?

No, I mean more like the progress Jos has made with them in 3/4 weeks.

They need the ammunition to score, look around a midfield of joey (just settling in df mf) Jones and Butterfield is hardly creative bud, they give whoever you have up front little to no service, add to that Palmer and Fox, whom while solid and workman like aren't hardly Kyle walker, Roberto carlos or cafu.. lol

Inexperienced Keeper.

Inexperienced Centrehalf.

Two fullbacks apparently no more than League 1 standard by some on here.

New DM, no experience in the Championship, new to the country.

Not sure what people expect. Confidence was completely shot and confidence is everything.

Lucky has protected those players by the system he has chosen. Confidence has been gained.

Up front we are relying on 4 players.

One who looks a shadow of what he was and 3 others that we were deemed nowhere near good enough only months ago,

A new system being implemented without the advantage of a preseason, all while trying to make sure we get points on the board.

All three teams in the top 6.

2 away from home.

1 at home were we created 4 clear cut chances

Now let's take the above into consideration and have a long think about it.
