Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I'm obviously disappointed. We've had a lot of chances and should have probably taken them to win the game."

A classic line right there....

Cutting edge analysis from Irvine as per usual.

I wasn’t alive in the 70’s so this was probably the bleakest period for me.

Drawing 2-2 against Yeovil in 1975 would not have been a good result because it would have meant the club was floating around Non League level. :duntmatter:

I was at this game - it was a 'home away day' was it not ?

Stood at the back of the Lep and got abused by Yeovil on and off the pitch

lol

I was in the (home)away end that day too! Despite the result it was a good laugh, giving a bit of banter with our own fans around the stadium and what not.

Didn't Reda also throw up on the pitch?

lol

Part and parcel of following football. A truly eventful game. 4 goals, 2 sendings off, a penalty scored which had to be retaken and then blasted into the Kop by Coke. The crowd screaming at Irvine to stretch the play but despite all of his coaching badges persevered with just lumping it down the throats of their centre halfs and keeper. Also throw in Trevor Kettle as the ref and you have a truly toxic mixture. I thoroughly enjoyed the theatre of it all and wont forget it in a hurry.
