Matchday Weather - Forecast for tonight

As you all probably know it's cold and wet out here in Hillsborough, Sheffield right now.

The sky is very dark and full of clouds that seem like they're ready to burst with snow.

It's currently around 2 degrees and there's a real hammering down of rain currently. If this was snow it'd be mayhem.

Tonight it looks like there's a 56% chance of rain/snow but to be fair it's not going to let up all day anyway so expect a freezing, wet night

What's not helping is a 23Mph wind that's blowing through and making things a whole heap worse

Temperature tonight will fix at 2 degrees but will feel loads colder

My advice is GET THE GAME CALLED OFF!!!!

Failing that, if you're in no position personally to determine whether or not a football match goes ahead, then wrap up so warm you can't move.

Thermal socks, thermal gloves, thermal hat, thermal scarf, wear thick warm clothes, and wear a thick wool jumper underneath a big thick waterproof coat.

It's going to be like at Antarctic tonight people. So as the old saying goes "wrap up warm out there Donald. Because Mickey's ready for snowballs"

SWFC have under soil heating this game will only get called off if it is unsafe to get to the game.

As Sheffield Council are in charge of gritting the roads then this is a possibility, the other team is not local travelling from Carlisle, if they did not travel yesterday and stay over they could very well arrive late and be a lot easier to play than a well prepared team.

Not a night for the faint hearted, players and fans alike.

Left the house at Hillsborough this morning and it was raining - 5 minutes up the hill to Crookes and it was a blizzard.

No danger to the game, but unlucky to those who have to get to the match from up the hill!

Luvly sunny day, clear sky and moderate temp in Sussex at 12.57.  What's it like everywhere else?
