Is anybody else bemused as to why he's doing all his rehabilitation away from SWFC, I understand him going to a certain doctor/surgeon but surely he should be out running with the team now, especially with the arrival of Jos, surely he wants everyone learning his methods. I keep seeing Instagram pics and vids of him with his training kit on and with the ball so why not at Middlewood?

anyone know owt? Or is he just still miles off?

Would imagine its a tad warmer where he is? Unless its Watford of course.

It's funny, I always assumed clubs would be very much more hands-on in monitoring, managing and overseeing their prized players' recouperation and return to training.

I'm sure there's a lot of updating goes on, obviously - but in this age of training ground Instagrams and whatnot, I've definitely learned it seems to happen far more 'at a distance' than I ever expected would be the case.

You'd think if you're worth £10m to a club, they'd be all over it, micro-managing every possible aspect. But clearly that's not the case; I highly doubt we've dispatched a club staffer to sit and watch FF do his five laps and 200 keepy-uppys, wherever he is...

Seems weird considering how much investment is there. Christ, most of us can't even rattle off a bog-standard two-side work report without someone from 'upstairs' hovering over our shoulder.  :duntmatter:

He has a young family and can recover better near the relevant specialists I would think. With our recent track record I'd rather anyone not 100% be nowhere near the training ground.

How are the refurbishments going?  What are the pitches like now?

Has the  condition of our training ground pitches, perhaps, got any bearing on the number

of hip injuries we seem to be suffering at present?

Personally mate I’m beginning to believe there’s more to injuries of our player than making out. Not on a bad note though.

im beginning to believe there’s extra time added so they can rectify the wrong doing of CC and get them fit too.

for example look at bannan strangely his injury started as 6-8 week when we had carlos to now 8-10 week now carlos has gone. I’m beginning to believe they are adding a couple of week so they come back not just recovered but completely fitter too. Let’s face it if they turned round and said to fans yehr he’s back but we getting him fit I recon they would get some negative comments. But by saying he’s had a setback that covers their @rse to get him nice and fit again.

This could be the same for more of the injuries I believe. So fessi might be gettting some warm weather training to get nice and fit (the purpose of the Portugal trip ???) which has been admitted carlos only did ball work not fitness work on.

After that, I'm not sure but our training pitches are though to be part of the problem aren't they?

I keep hearing this. And I know Turner was on about it too.

But are the training pitches not where our U23's and U18's play?

If so are they also picking up an inordinate number of injuries?

Maybe Carlos was rushing them back before they had recovered from their injury. Maybe now we are quoting the time when they will be properly recovered.

Going forward I'd rather we did it properly, shortcuts lead to more injuries.

Yup deffo it’s been said he had busy ups over rushing a player back which player i dunno but apparently that didn’t help the old medical team hence their sacking. So I’ve been told
