In the llate eighties I used to love this one:

sheffield wednesday

hallelujah. Hallelujah

and we used to wave our hands in the air for the hallelujah bit. Short but sweet!

We all live on a blue and white kop a blue and white kop

A blue and white kop a blue and white kop

repeat

and our friends are all aboard Jim Mcalliog and David Ford

If you go down to the woods today you'll sure get a big surprise

If you go down to the woods today you'll never believe you eyes

Cos Jeremy the sugar puff bear has got some dock martins and cropped his hair

and come to join us in the Hillsborough skinheads

Grimsby away

You only sing when your fishing

Garry Thompson who was useless. I remember readin a report in a national newspaper about what a well run club we were. We had just had a roof put on the Kop and had been frugle in saving £200 000 by having some posts to support the roof rather than going cantilever. The posts are so small they can hardly be seen and the money has gone towards star striker Garry Thompson.

Possibly one of our worst taste chants ever (it was sick and reprehensible but darkly humorous) was I think away to Rotherham about 1979 taunting those "silly boys in blue" who were being their usual late seventies heavy handed selves...

Six thousand coppers

There's only one Yorkshire Ripper

Six thousand coppers

There's only one Yorkshire Ripper

....heard that at Bolton station this season...

Shelll we tell em who we are

We are the owls we are owls we are we are we are the Owls.
