@owlstalk
How good is it to see all these youngsters come through to the first team like this? Well impressive As a football fan this is one of the things you want to see surely Owlstalk Shop
canadianowl
Would like to see more youth given a chance for the rest of the season. btw whats that thing on the side of his face? birthmark or something?
Dooogs
Absoutely - the lack of first-team exposure for our youngsters (except 'keepers) under CC, even when the seniors were knackered or out of form, was thoroughly depressing.
BartonOwl
It’s fantastic, and if the expectation and money wasn’t in the club we would see more of it. However, you bring the missing players back, not sure you’ll be seeing them on the bench.
NewquayOwl
Just shows if u knuckle down, go out on loan and gain valuable experience u could force yourself into the manager's plans. This isn't a swipe at Carlos but this clean slate is for everyone.
SallyCinnamon
Loved how he bollocked Palmer for not playing it into him. Instead Palmer hoofed it forward and put us on the back foot. Shows he wants the ball and has good understanding of how to manage a game.

CANbus_nz
He's been in the job a few days, first game in charge the first teams injured, we are down to 10 men. Yes let's give the lad a run out he'll never forget, good on you Jos.

Garry Powell
Gives the other young players hope that if they are performing for the U23s they can get in the first team. Only a brief time on the pitch but the new boss has shown hes not afraid to give them a chance
East Yorks Owl
First impression of our new boss is that he’s got plenty of balls. He’s not afraid to introduce a new formation in such a big game and tbh I wouldn’t have had the nerve to swap Wallace for Clare in those last few minutes. Initial signs are good, in fact the entire team already seem to have taken on some steel from his appointment.
doubleo
Little things like this send massive ripples through the club. Great to see. What bottle Jos has got - his first match in charge, local Derby, on tv, down to 10 men, away from home against a hostile crowd, backs to the wall defending infront of their kop - and he brings a youngster on. Wonderful

Gives us a bit of pace in midfield as well so can see him featuring quite a bit until the end of the season now.
Guest wilyfox
Nice to see him involved. Sensible option would have been to chuck Buttercup on for the last few, given his experience. Good to see Jos going with Clare.
Mr. Tom
DidwellWilson. Great future for this lad, his highlight reel is far more impressive in terms of strengths all over the pitch than most at his age. He’ll get games this year. And he REALLY wants them. Bangin’! Loving Jos’s quiet confidence already though - of which that was another sign, I thought
Ronio
Love it. Even though he was on the pitch for a few minutes. It really wasn't much to ask.
