You don't retire the cult; the cult retires you.

I think you've missed a key point of a cult.

They don't retire. They have a strong dedicated following of people who are forever connected.

HE will return. When the time is right.

The Cult of Megson will NEVER die out. HE is immortal. The Cult hopes Jos does well, for we support The Wednesday. Just hope Jos dyes his hair ginger.

Meggo'd got no hope because he'd actually had past experience of British football. garymegson

Neither.

The Cult still thrives. HE will return one day.

Wish he was still playing Simon TBH..

HE is the kind of player we need ...

Gary falls into the Souness/Keane

Bracket of manager, they want their players to show the same commitment that they did as players..

Unfortunately the "X-Box Generation" no longer aspire to this technique ...

I have always been impartial on meggo, which is unusual for me with anything to do with football. I can see the arguments for and against. But under the circumstances if he wasn't appointed this time then I think you can rule out him ever landing the job under DC. It's been fun seeing all the posts and reactions though. Still onwards and upwards we need to be together for the United game!

Not retired.

Think Luke Skywalker on Ahch-To

Think Master Yoda on Dagobah

Merely gone away for a while to live on Wharncliffe Crags to contemplate the mysteries of life, meditate and view lithographic images of Howard Wilkinsons 1983 - 84 promotion campaign.

The time will come for the ginger messiah and his followers to return..................................
