unkastav
Can we have a word with him please today chaps? Ideally after spanking them 4-0 and enticing him to Hillsborough
the third man
If we can spank them 0 - 4 I'd keep Bullen
Inspector Lestrade
In one of the threads someone posted that Smith justs coaches the players has no hand in the signing of players. If true gives me doubts about his overall suitability, as on face value he seems a good choice.
woldsowl
I like that Australian Smith, seems to have 100 shots every match.
Owls2k
Managing a club with zero expectation is completely different to managing a club with huge pressure and expectation, that's where you see who can cut the mustard.

You're right. Brentford will soon be building a big new stadium. Huge potential with 8 million people with 12 mile radius. Yes, at the moment we've got zero expectation but might be different next season so don't despair.
BobsMagicCalculator
Smith like Warburton before him DOES NOT have much influence regarding the players they sign. He's on the committee but does not have a veto on which players they sign, mostly done by their very clever chairman with his impressive statistics that he uses to source players. So if you think Smith is going to turn Wednesday around because he can spot a good player, think again.

Easy, get him to bring the chairman with him

Not necessarily, but then DC favoured the committee approach before CC had it disbanded, if rumours are to be believed. Even so, Smith doesn't half know how to get the players he is 'given' playing good football...he would be a strong candidate for me and hope DC took notice today of a very good coach/manager. Bluesteel
Given the performance today I think he’d be a great shout (if interested). Chansiri was there. Smith or Monk would suit me.
