I’d accept Lippi, Ancelotti or Ferguson.

If not then Rodgers, Conte or Zidane

if not then I guess I’d have Paul Lambert, Paul Heckingbottom or Michael O’Neil

if not then Paul Hurst or Dean Smith

if they all say no then lets play Bullen keeps winning.

Basically I’m open to suggestions.

lol

I think we could get him but honestly don't think he's even on DC's radar tbh.

As for Karanka, he's a promotion winner, so called negative football or not, I'd take that personally, and people might say he's as negative as Carlos, but he's better at it lol

It's all about getting promotion for me, regardless of how we do it.

Going to be an interesting couple of weeks to see who we get though.

Yes, and I'll be interested to see how Carlos plays with Swansea in this division next season.

He'll have bigger resources there, so you'd assume he'd have better all-rounders to work with.

Maybe then he'll dare let the players off the leash when aiming for promotion.

But you're right, Carlos understood Karanka's tactics and agreed with them, but the latter is better at them. As was Gray, to be fair to him.

What about Frank de Boer? Had a mare at Palace but only got 5 games to be fair. Prefers 4-3-3 and should be good for bringing youngsters through. I'm not sure we can attract managers with those sort of reputations though.

We don't want losers like Mclaren and poyet from the losers merry go round. We want a European manager. We want someone who will bring in eastern European players, African players etc. These players will be relatively cheap and run their proverbials off for 90 minutes match After match.

These are the players who will help us get up.

The new manager will have to spend at least £20 million in the next transfer window. And no this won't get us in trouble with the fair play thingy. Even if it did we just pay the fine like man City do.

The money we make from sky in the Premiership pays the fine. But it won't come to that.

£20 million won't buy much in the UK. That is why we need to tap into other markets. We also don't need middle aged (in football terms) never wases like boyd etc. We need a forward thinking manager.

Let's face it cc did a great job in his first season until the Hull game. Something happened in his head that changed his entire philosophy towards our style and approach.

Therefore we need someone who won't bottle it. Who isn't a control freak and have a totalitarian approach to his team.

We need someone fast. Yes the Portuguese chap fonseca looks good but will cost plenty.

Speculate to accumulate

Pay peanuts and get monkeys and failures

Time to move on from that

I feel I must ask Mr Mason, what you are basing this statement on?
