Lomas613
How did we actually play apart from the 3-0 did we deserve it? Was it a good performance?

WhiteOwl91
We could have been 2-1 down within 25, Wildsmith pulled us out of it. Then second goal (pen) was huge. What a performance from Joe. On another day I think it could have gone either way, obviously Reach scoring a screamer like Aston Villa in first 10 makes ALL the difference, we know what our side is like for confidence But nice to see our attacking intent, especially replacing hooper with Abdi when winning 1-0, could easily have gone Butterfield to try and 'defend' our lead, but instead went to try and score more and it worked Overall we did deserve to win Edited December 26, 2017 by WhiteOwl91
bradowl
Overall an excellent performance, couple of scary moments in first when Forest were threatening, second half Forest were absolute dross and we could have had more than 3 goals. Reach and Joao 2 outstanding performers for me and Wildsmith pulled off a couple of important saves during first half.
glynnb
Yes and Yes we played well looked compact and organised and very hard working. Forest played pretty patterns and targeted Fox early doors but he got sorted and they couldn't penetrate. I was a little worried about Reach in midfield but he was a revelation, Florist were very pretty in approach but they were woeful in front of goal and Wildsmith really looked the part. All in all very encouraging even more so to see the players unity again at the end of the game. UTO
cowl
We deserved it. Forest did have their chances in what was a very open first half, and we did lose our way somewhat after Hooper's injury, in that regard Rhodes' penalty came at a perfect time. Little doubt about who the winners were going to be in the second though.
Swiss Toni
Not a top notch performance as Forest had plenty of the ball and got into some good positions out wide which ultimately came to nothing. We definitely had more quality in front of goal an that was the difference today. I'd say 3-0 was probably a goal too much but you take what you can when you can. Notable performers for me were: 1. Reach who scored a great goal and never stopped running. 2. Wildsmith who pulled off good saves at important times. 3. Rhodes who tried to get on the end of every long ball. 4. Joao who looked more like the player of old.
Markowski77
It was a very workmanlike professional away performance, we got forward when needed and defended when needed. The good thing to see we went after the third goal to kill the game off the other positive thing is , we didn’t blow them away with free flowing football (what we know we are capable of with the players at our disposal) but won comfortably 3-0 they seemed to give that extra 20% today and battled very well was great to see , and we have much more in the tank in terms of quality we have to give
Owlinmad
As so often in football the first goal shaped the game.

abrodie2002
Main difference... we closed down Forest, kept shape well, played the ball more down the middle, didn’t keep trying to play it to full backs for overlap and .... WE WERE SHOOTING!! Defence still looked a bit shaken at times and Forest got behind our back line on multiple occasions and Wildsmith kept goal well when this happened... but overall we looked good for the win and mostly comfortable! Second half Forest were manly kept quiet and resorted to long range efforts which were manly wild and tame. In sunmary, we looked more like the team from 2 seasons ago that closed down all over the pitch and attacked with fast paced flowing football

Jon Newsome
Got the goal early on which was nice, Wildsmith made 2 or 3 good saves two from one on ones, and they flashed one wide from an angle. After that we were comfortable and the penalty before half time really made it comfortable for us, second half we were solid and dangerous on the counter where we got our third goal. Forest were dreadful in the second half and we deserved the win, Adam Reach outstanding along with Hutchinson Wildsmith and Joao.
Markowski77
Also Joao was unplayable, they didn’t know what to do with him. He has it in his locker today’s proved that

Havin-a-hoot
I watched it on tv so didn't actually go... but good game, good performance. Forest had a lot of possession but didn't do too much with it. Thought joao had a great game, ran at people, caused problems and scored. Much improved side so far. 1867Heaven
Did well overall but early goal and Wildsmith helped that.
WhiteOwl91
Quite hilarious that some blokes in front of us were slagging Joao off all game and even suggested replacing him with Nuhiu after 35 mins. There's always some eh!!!
