Where did Carlos see/hear all this fan anger?

He doesn't use social media at all

There's been none at matches

I'm struggling to understand how he got drove out by fans

I was there yesterday. And we were abject.

Ive witnessed some proper “toxic” atmospheres. Yesterday was nothing like. Fans were very patient and only let their feelings known at FT

Abuse from Neanderthals/blades/trolls on social media.

Reading CC’s leaving comments doesn’t come across as someone hounded out by abuse?

He wasn't hounded out by abuse because he's not really experienced any

Carlos doesn't do social media so won't have heard it there

Our fans haven't protested so he wont' have seen/heard it at games either

That’s what I’m saying

He hasn’t been abused at games at all.

Just social media and on here

Reads as a Manager who leaves us in a lower league position then when he took over.

Reads as a Manager who got the boot after winning only 6 games all season.

The Chairman was beyond patient with his underachievement.

It's not rocket science.

Because in the last load of press conferences he's reiterated time and again that he's not used/gone on social media whatsoever since February

Have a watch of his last interview video

Surely he’s been on here? How could he resist...

Can anyone seriously say that succesful and important people really give a shiite about random people's ranting on social media.

You see people in bars bladdered typing away - Do we really think anyone take this seriously?

We all need to wake up here.

The whole thing about fans and social media is a total nonsense and a smokescreen

Anyone with half a brain can see that to be fair

But you're right - it's a crazy nonsense

yes, wiser than a man who took us to two playoffs. Whatever the rights and wrongs, two great seasons and one half over hardly make for a bad decision. If he appoints a manager who takes us into the playoffs next two years will be a great job. Wonder how long it will take you to call for the next managers head. Abusers,  did drive him out too, without that he would have stayed and tried to put it right. Maybe he would have failed, but somebody needs to build for the long term. Not fans who want instant success. I wont be celebrating the Christmas sacking of anyone. Even less one who endured such abuse with such dignity and good humour. Makes for a bad precedent, and means the clock is ticking for DC. Wonder how long he will have the heart to stick with the club? My Thai friends tell me he is rethinking the whole enterprise.

The whole enterprise? What's a vehicle hire place got to do with Chansiri?

There's a never ending blame culture to pin things onto a specific group of people, whether that's at the games or online.

Venting frustration online is nowhere as damaging to doing it joined by a couple of thousand extra voices, in the heat of the moment at a game.

Anyone who see's it differently wants their bumps feeling.

DC has talked about people acting with 'human' emotions and criticism hurting, the facts are that upset, anger and disappointment are all emotions - where would people they rather be heard when things don't go right.

Madness.

I feel so sorry for carlos tonight, it’s ended on a sour note in my opinion no

matter what anybody says.. yes there were problems , but for me on a personal level I’ll never be comfortable with the abuse that was levelled towards him, it wasn’t acceptable in my eyes

this was a man who loved Sheffield Wednesday Football Club
