Given last year Blackburn were relegated on 51 points and a poor goal difference  ( we already have 27) how many points do we think we will end the season with ?  Also which game do you think our next 3 points will come from ?

50 points looks a very long way off at the moment.

Eight wins to get 24 points, should be more than do able. Burton at home maybe next 3 points. A point at either Forest or Brentford would steady the nerves though.

Burton? You know we can’t beat teams beginning with b

The performance and result of the Burton game should be a good pointer as to whether we end up in a relegation battle or not.

Burton, the perennial strugglers and not the most skilful team in Championship, have plenty of character and energy. It should be an interesting encounter.

At the moment we are averaging a point every two matches . That will give us about thirty nine points . Mind you if pigs carry on as they are they will end up on less than fifty too .
