This is why he incapable of turning things around. If you refuse to admit there is a problem how can you ever resolve it?

This, and the fact that no individual player has improved their reputation under his 'coaching'.

We've been on a downward slide for 18 months and every week Chansiri allows it to continue is an unfathomable dereliction of responsibility.

If he not only keeps him but gives him more money to spend in the January transfer window then he must be an utter fool.

He is actually telling the truth. He doesn't think it's his fault.

Wasn't fault that we were undercooked for the play off final / hudds / sheff u debacles.

In his own deluded world he tells all around him that none of the problems are his fault. Chansiri laps it up every time.

Afyer the Tyles games I said we were om the way to div 1 and got pelted. If CC stays, were in a relegation battle.

There are mitigating circumstances for sure. But that comment has tipped me over the edge, never does he take any responsibility himself. Happy to take the praise though.

Thats even worse than the post Sheffield United interview. So detached from reality.

Wake up Chansiri

Carlos Carvalhal's version of the famous Mickey Rooney quote;

If the referees don't give us the penalties

If we have too many injuries all at the same time (after boasting that we have 2 full teams to rely on)

If the medical staff are not properly trained.......

my life would have gone like this.....

Once upon a time, Carlos had a dream.......

but now it is time to go back to Estoril and live happily ever after.....

And this is one of the reasons why he is the worst manager in our history.

Kudos for banging that drum in nearly every thread :stuwinky:

I have to say, given what he inherited and the endless advantages he's had in trying to build on that, I don't think you're far wrong.

And the truth is..it isn't ALL his fault

The players have to take some responsibility and not drop deeper and deeper and deeper like lemmings over a cliff edge.

However. ..

It's quite clearly stale as f*ck in that dressing room.

Hearing the same voice saying the same thing week after week after week loses its impact.

Too many not performing week after week.

Either there's a huge squad clear out or the manager goes.

It has to be one or the other.

Whichever is cheaper. (Because all the coaching staff would need replacing too if Carlos went)

Either way we can't go on as we are, or we will seriously be looking over our shoulder and not upward.

I can only conclude this farce is continuing because of DC's poor decision to retain CC in the summer. To sack Carlos as we obviously should would lose the entire backroom infrastructure overnight, except Bullen (who should probably  go too) making the decision to replace the medical team even more ridiculous.
