You didn’t mention 2 play offs,  a day out at Wembley  , you didn’t mention some of the brilliant results we have had , some of the best moments in a long time , take the Rhodes fee out of your £37 million , which seems excessive anyway and over 3 seasons isn’t that much , and you forgot some of the BEST football I have seen since our heyday a long while back , the clean sheets record etc etc , it hasn’t been as bad as you make out by a long way .

Yes. That just highlights how much of a s**t job he has done since that first season then doesn’t it.

We were also good under Dave Jones once upon a time.

Carlos out!

Don’t go along with all the abuse and put downs , and Carlos needs to change things or leave that’s all , we did reach the play offs last season remember , we got there so last season wasn’t that bad .

A day out at Wembley , where the club didn't come close to mirroring the pride and passion of the Owls fans in attendance.

A match capitulated no later than 20 mins in, with no effort for the rest of the match to correct course, counter or change up strategy.

Thanks for the memories though, CC.

Yes but that was our fault. We were too negative and got straight on the players back the first time they made a mistake when instead we needed to create a positive environment for them to play in.... Oh hang on a minute.

37 million wasted so far on a squad barely improved in 3 years.

37 million wasted so far on an ageing squad that will cost additional millions for years in wages, and take seasons to rebuild.

37 million wasted so far to produce 5 shots a month, and some of the worst football I've seen at S6 in 40 years.

The whole medical staff sacked at Carlos's request, and injuries worse than ever.

37 million wasted so far and it's everybody's fault except Carlos's.

No hyperbole from me. The worst Manager in our history by a significant margin.

Take a bow good sir, by far the best post of the year.

We are in a lower league position now than what Stuart Gray got the sack for :duntmatter:

I’m referring to how quickly some have forgot and turned against Carlos , it does seem he can’t turn this around  and maybe a change would be beneficial . We aren’t that far off winning more games imo though,  but we have become boring to watch and that is not on

There were plenty of us at the time (though probably not in the majority but the ones who could actually see the wood for the trees) who stated CC having the medical team sacked was basically yet another excuse. Got dog's abuse at the time if I recall. How the times they are a-changing. I get the impression World-class lady killer sonofbert2 won't be long before he smells the coffee either. Blind Faith (decent band in their day) has a lot to answer for.

I'm just trying to get a feel for the whole picture re. the backroom team changes, the issue re. injuries and a contrast with other clubs of a similar size with the most up to date playing surfaces from contributors to this forum that actually have some real insight in these areas rather than made up stuff by people who don't have a clue but do have an agenda.

My general view in most areas of polarised opinions (current trend in most areas of debate) is that the truth can generally be found in the grey, rather than the black and the white.  My summary above based on the responses given supports this.

Re. my lady killing skills, I posted an update but maybe you didn't read that post properly either.  I'm a bit like Wednesday lately in that respect.  I still manage to get into decent positions in and around the box despite being far from at the top of my game but I'm struggling to get any shots off never mind shots on target.

I'm a bit concerned about your love life actually.  You used to gush over a Chris about 15 times every day but I've not seen a mention in your posts over this past month or so.  Really hoping it's not over for you already hun.  Xx

Tbh I didn't really enjoy watching us last season, but as I said previously: the ends were justifying the means.

When we properly clicked last season - Newcastle, Norwich and Wolves away - we were actually very good, but as ricky pointed out we were too reliant upon moments of one-off brilliance or opposition mistakes.

This season...well we are even more one-paced than we were last season and have become a very poor defensive unit. Unfortunately, I'd imagine playing against Wednesday atm is very easy. We don't press particularly well and our only attacking tactic is getting out wide to Reach, Wallace or perhaps Hunt to put a ball into the box. Only Reach seems capable of delivering a half decent cross this season. Don't even get me started on Wallace.

To cap it all off we are very vulnerable to any sort of counter-attack and our game management is atrocious.

gosh the more you think about it .. the more you factor in the money he's spent, the starting 11 that include what, 3 of the players he's brought in .. we haven't improved much have we .. its like the play off seasons were just flukes or a bit of luck whereas our current league position is about our level ...

christ wtf is going on ... :duntmatter:
