Needs a team of seasoned championship professionals around him, I agree he has good intentions and is willing to back and have faith in his coach, but far too many school boy errors. The kit fiasco prime example, just think he's got the wrong people advising him on matters of football that are skewd by the thought of their own personal gain above what he's trying to do. Under the triumpherate we seemed more focused, better run and had a clear direction, once it broke the cracks started to appear.

In my opinion DC should have kept Paul Aldridge at the club . PA was vastly experienced in the financial side of the game ,and he needs experienced football men around him , someone like Howard Wilkinson . I really believe DC is having his pants pulled down by Doyen .

I'm a fairly new and infrequent poster on this site but am a long time supporter of my team. I pop into here now and again to see what people are talking about and lately I'm quite frankly appalled at the level of malicious spite directed towards the Manager, Chairman and some players at our club. OK, the football ATM is dull and the results less than what we all would like but the amount of negativity and sheer nastiness on here has reached another level. It's obvious to anyone with two eyes and a brain that this is not what the Manager, Chairman and players want out of choice...but for whatever reason, be it tactics, fitness, recruitment, refereeing decisions, luck or anything else you can come up with, we are going through a bad period.

The guy at the top has burning ambitions to progress this club into the PL so will be acutely aware that things are not going to plan and will have ideas about how he can effect this, be it a change of manager or a turnaround of playing staff or a new approach style wise, and will no doubt be taking advice on the best way forward and then he will act....when he is good and ready. But because he hasn't danced to the tune of the Carlos out brigade and sacked the manager to placate them, they are resorting to some of the nastiest personal abuse I have ever heard. Some are also advocating trying to damage the club with boycotts and protests until their strident demands are met.

You are not Wednesday fans...you are spoilt children at best, stamping and screaming because you can't get your own way...or at worst you are closet pigs hoping to inflict damage onto the very structure of our club.

You aren't Blackpool supporters with a c**t like Oyston in charge who has almost destroyed your team out of pure greed...you have a Chairman who has spent multi millions to try and get Wednesday back into footballs elite...and who is unlikely to ever see most of his money back unless he achieves that aim.

You don't have a Manager who is totally inept like some of the planks who went before him...he gave us a season of joyful football and a play off final appearance and then another season of more pragmatic but nevertheless winning football. Now, because things are not going to plan you are wanting to demonise them. Well be careful what you wish for...because if Mr Chansiri decides he doesn't need all this aggro and abuse he may offload onto someone like Bates or Cellino...or even Oyston.

Look there is no call for abusive language directed at the chairman or manager on any platform. The vast majority of us will agree with you on that.

As for the Carlos out brigade or genuine criticism of the chairman, you cannot blame people for that. Being a supporter doesn’t mean you have to happy clap no matter what.

Sheffied Wednesay are a club that whilst in this division at least is reliant on the income from ticket sales. As a working class man I think I can speak for a lot of fans when they say for the money they spend “Supporting” this club they expect better.

£30 million for mid table mediocrity is unacceptable. That can’t contuine and speaking out constructively about this or not attending in protest sends a message that change is needed. Every club in the world has done it from Barca and their white handkerchief’s to Charlton and their tennis balls. Doesn’t make them less of a supporter. Just showing their passion and desire for better

People respond in different ways. WAWAW

I think whenever he pulls them back up and turns around someone else does it to him.. He' seems very naive in the dealings of professional football and definitely needs the right people around him including a stronger head coach.

DC calls Doyen one of his advisers , but  by their very nature, Doyen are only interested in Doyen and money , and i honestly believe that they saw a rich foreign businessman with no idea how the football business works , buy a club ,and saw an opportunity to swoop and take advantage .

Sad but true bud, I mentioned this the other week. Doyen have no interest in Sheffield Wednesday their only interest is in their share holders and making a profit. The problem for me is the word was we looked at 200 CB's before we picked one who's young and makes mistakes (hopefully under the right guidance and tuition) can improve and become a good player for us and another who was his club captain in Portugal who can't even seem to warrant a 10 minutes spell on the pitch??, now due to do yens involvment can we only look at doyens clients?? and does this mean when a player does sign for us he HAS TO sign a contract to DOYEN SPORTS?. IF so the problem with this approach is are we making the pond were fishing from for players smaller as if they aren't already doyens clients or are happy with their current agent and don't want to swap to doyen they won't /or we won't sign them?. Hmmm.

A lot of us want Carlos to step down but aren’t airing those views in a malicious or nasty way.Dont tar us all with the same brush.

I think a lot have realised that Carlos has now reached his ‘best before date’. In marathon terms he has ‘hit the wall’.

I feel a lot of us genuinely like the man, would have loved to have seen him succeed, but it’s quite obvious that he’s taken us as far as he can. The performances, his erratic press conferences etc

I don’t condone the nastiness or boycotting, however I feel the frustration being that there is a faint hope that should DC replace him right now we may just get a positive reaction from a new boss and put ourselves back in contention, however there’s a feeling we are sleepwalking to mid table mediocrity at best, when this club, including DC for all he has invested, deserve so much more.

I get where the OP is coming from regarding personal insults to the chairman.

Agreed but, he does a bit of insulting himself towards Wednesday fans, take that out & he has some points....we all want what's best for SWFC, difference of opinion on how to get there is all.

I have never understood why some many people use ellipses in their writing as if they're are full stops or commas.

"The ellipsis is used to indicate the omission of words in the middle of a quoted sentence or the omission of sentences within a quoted paragraph. In creative writing, the ellipsis functions to indicate that the speaker has trailed off and left a sentence or thought unfinished."

I'm gonna start using them more frequently myself, I kind of like them(didn't realise till just now)& want to make as much use as possible in the future.

All good, valid points. This site functions the same most do, they attract malcontents who come on to moan. The other thing with the 'glass half full merchants' is, unlike the rest of us, the desire to spoil everyone else's pleasure and revel in negativity. That way they confirm their miserable view of life and their position in it. I bet most of them are unhappy in their life and circumstances, personal failures spill over into 'their club' their 'Leit motiv' is to confirm their world view that someone has to be blamed. They project their unhappiness with a simple coda, one change will make them happy. That way they can explain away their own failures as all down to one simple thing. Simplistic views for simple people. Lack of self knowledge and a vicious circle of failure all around. Hate to live in their skin. Miserable and cold.

I'm a successful business man with millions of pounds turnover a year, kids and a wife and I know carlos has lost the plot.

so get off your high horse and get back in kitchen my big mac aint gonna cook itself
