It’s not Nuhiu’s, Reach’s or van Aken’s fault that we drew today....

Recommended Posts

carlos is the main reason for a disaster but the players are far from innocent

wasn't carlos tactics that made reach pull out of a tackle or the shybo performance from the back 4 in the derby

these are well paid men and apparently gifted enough to be playing a decent professional level.

not even sir Alex could prevent players having a bad game but it is  happening far to often with us.which is down to carlos and themselves.

and cant blame the players because they are only human ,like wtf is carlos some robot from outta space then

Although far from a vintage performance I thought when the game went to 2-1 it was a fair reflection of the game. So to only get a point is a bit frustrating but at Ipswich we got a late point I thought we didnt 100% deserve.

Swings and roundabouts.

It’s hardly Carlos’s fault that we have a player who doesn’t understand the principle of keep ball when we are winning within 95 minutes played, I’d love to know what Carlos said in the dressing room.

You both completely miss my point. Both the players you mention made mistakes but those mistakes cost just one goal and, in my opinion, it’s absolute horse5h1t to blame Nuhiu because he was the other side of the pitch when he made his “mistake”.

Carlos is solely to blame because, in the first half, he gave us exactly the same defence minded over cautious tactic that’s failled 90% of the time over the last season and a half - that’s not an individual mistake, that’s carelessness.

.... it was Carlos’s p155 poor tactics in the first half. I would ask certain posters to stop blaming the players; they’ll make mistakes; their only human. Blame Carlos for not learning from his mistakes and failures by just continuing with the same over cautious turgid “defence first” strategy.

If if we started games like we finish them them then we wouldn’t be in this sorry mess.

Nope it’s Van Aken’s fault pal

No it’s not; it’s Carlos’s fault. His tactics are that predictable now that all managers know how to stop us playing.

How is it the managers fault when a “defender” swipes at a ball like a 4 year old girl in the last minute of the game?

You could say it’s the managers fault for picking him I suppose.

We would have won the game if we didn’t have to play the massive amount of time added on for hull taking the f ing pi55 f ing around when they were winning

Van Aken made a mistake that contributed to Hull scoring. Carlos picks the team, sets up the formation and chooses the tactics. The fault lies solely with the manager

We speak as though the players are robots obeying all instructions but cmon lets face it the players have brains themselves and experience. If they know during that game it’s not going right surely they should take it upon themselves to attack attack attack. CC gives them orders yes but if it’s not working surely they have their own ideas and abilities to sort of do themselves. The players could do what CC wants but with abit more intent going forward than the boring stay at back send to sleep cr@p. It’s not like they robots and it’s programmed into them to play poorly unless they just are playing bad. And it is the players we need to question. Either way blame can’t be on 1 individual he can prepare them all he can but once they in that pitch it’s up to them. Again I say if they think the tactics aren’t working their experience and own minds should help them figure it out another way. But they seem actually do seem robotic and playing poor like the tactics for some reason that means we should question them also

You do know how football works don’t you? If what you’re stating is the case then why didn’t the players go to 4-3-3 and play more direct themselves in the first half?

So if the centre forward misses countless chances and we draw 0-0 it’s the managers fault?

If the keeper lets one through his legs and we lose 1-0 it’s the managers fault?

Prevoius weeks/months the set up has been poor, no one can disagree with that but to blame him for yesterday when a player does something that amateurish is harsh and misguided

If we turned up first half this thread probably wouldn't exist.

Its been the overarching problem for so long but CC is powerless to change it.

tactics and setup are great main areas to address - and unless they are then nowt is really going to change.

What I’m saying is sometimes plans need to be scrapped and do all you can to get the goal/ win even if it means going against the managers ideas. The team have their own ideas etc surely
