John Meredith (born 23 September 1940 in Hatfield) is an English former professional footballer who played for Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday, Chesterfield, Gillingham and AFC Bournemouth during a 13-year professional career. Just made the one appearance for us but as stated went on to have a reasonably successful career in the lower divisions.

Played at home to Wolves in March 1961,and must have had a stinker because that was his lot,he was a winger

The kit is right, and it iS Hillsborough. The background is in fact the original North Stand, prior to the building of the Cantilever.

Certainly not Tommy mack - the eyebrows are nowhere near bushy enough. TM's nickname was often 'Eyebrows'
