All that shows is the club are ripping off more fans than the last few seasons. Taking advantage of loyal supporters is not the best policy.

Why then if "fans are being ripped off" do we/they turn up in the numbers we do?

Surely to god if they felt that they/we wouldn't.

Absolute garbage.

There are plenty of Wednesday fans out there who are unable to commit to a season ticket for a wide range of reasons. People who work shifts, people with family commitments, people with the responsibility of caring for others. The list goes on.

The guy who works hard for a mere minimum wage, has a partner and a child. Has bills to pay etc. He might have watched Football a lot before he settled down but now has to pick and choose his games, perhaps 4-5 a season. He'd probably go every week if he was still in a position to afford it.

To charge people £35-£40 to watch - what in old money - is a Second Division match is a disgrace.

Now you may be able to go every week. Good for you, but I'll leave with the famous words of Martin Niemoller..

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Wow Ive caught a bit of a whopper here.  Re-read my original post mate; it was intended to be very much tounge-in-cheek.

The POTG prices are an utter disgrace IMO, and I would never defend them.
