Either it will be rotated this game or for the Reading game.  No way will Wallace, Loovens, Rhodes and Fox start all 3.  Wouldn't start Joao though...was like a deer in headlights when he came on on Saturday!!

Just think playing Rhodes or Fletch will play into Ipswich's hands and we desperately need some pace in the side. Joao's looked like he has some confidence recently

How about the same team that beat Millwall and Villa, and drew against City? The same team that, whilst not perfect, has given us 8 points from 4 games.

The only change I would consider is Lee for Butters. But the shape is bringing home the bacon, so let's not panic.

After starting like an express train, Ipswich have really come off the rails.

Since that 4 in 4 start...

P12. W4. D1. L7

Unlike us they have been very efficient against poorer sides.

Wins v

Brum

Barnsley

Millwall

Brentford

Bolton

Sunderland

Burton

Preston

Absolutely nothing to fear here. Our A game would beat them. Lets hope we have our A game on Wednesday.

So you wanted to have the team that had collected a decent return points wise and then want to drop one of the midfielders who had played a big part in that for another whose form has been terrible this season.

I said "consider" Lee for Butters.

Butters was excellent at Villa, but poor on Saturday. Though whether he was so deep and so negative under instruction, who knows?

Either Lee or Butters are fine. Just so long as Carlos doesn't play both of them, and Bannan, in that awful lop-sided formation he keeps trying (and failing with).

He wasn't the only one. In fact nobody played well but I wonder when fans will realise that a central pairing of Bannan and Lee doesnt work.

What makes you say that?

Results over the reign of Carlos suggest the opposite.

Its a partnership that might get you into the play offs nothing better. Take last season when injuries forced his hand we had Bannan and Jones in midfield and went on an excellent run. As soon as we got the play offs we reverted back to Bannan Lee Hutch and Wallace which was disastrous. This season we have had better results without Lee in the middle.

Bannan-Jones worked superbly. Bannan-Lee worked superbly.

What will not get the points we need is 3 of our CMs in the same team.
