How do you put across "reasoned debate" on a concourse at a f.ookin' match?...Its not speakers corner..

As per title, people rightly complaining ,then the meat heads want to fight

People rightly complaining are the innocent party then?  I don’t think so. There’s a guy that sits a couple of rows behind me that moans constantly and constantly berates our players to the extent that it distracts me from the game. The problem with him is that he lets everyone around him know his opinion. Not only me but others have asked him to cool it a little but he then gets aggressive. He’s almost had fisticuffs with several people wrong him.

I saw several 'stewards' going way over the top when restraining a fan at the front of the kop.

Several fans then voiced their concern at the 'stewards' following the heavy handedness.

I didn't see any fans fighting one another from where i was at the kop.

I think there needs to be a look into how those 'stewards' acted.

You mean the lad who started swinging at the stewards? And the 'fans' who tried to stop the stewards from doing their job should be ashamed of themselves.

That isn't what I said did I.

I saw several supposed 'stewards' who were considerably larger that the fan being very physical. Looked like a few jabs were thrown in and other unnecessary force, from my perspective.

The 'stewards' managed to escort the fan away so they were not stopped.

Fans on both the kop and south stand aired frustration at the way they handled it. I wasn't the only one that questioned their methods.

As i said, it needs some scruitiny. Where did you get the shame part from?

I didn't see the start but assume that was the case.

My issue is with how the 'stewards' handled it. Worries me if that is the expected behaviour.

People offering fights isn't right,I`ve got a guy who sits about 4 seats away and constantly berates them and he`s had dogs of abuse,I don't agree with 3/4 of what he bleats but some of the stuff is crazy,I just let him get on with it,I understand where you are coming from,I know it`s not right but that happens all over the ground and at other grounds, It's subjective to whether they are right or wrong.

Personally I have a go if it's warranted and encourage when I see fit,but who's to say people around me agree.

I will say this I`ve been watching us for over 30 years and it's as bad as it`s got,at the end of the day you can paint over the performance if the ball has been put in the back of the net,I don't think we`d have scored if we were still playing now,so I can understand the negativity and frustration.

I got so angry watching them stewards, wish I was in Kop & wish I wasn't 49, the 20 odd year old of me wanted to help a fellow owl out & wade in!

Nowt worse than power trip minimum wage, rejected old bill meat heads who want to stop all passion at games, love to see them try it with me!
