Yep the greatest premier league striker Alan Shearer always says that as a striker you want 4-5 chances a game to score goals from. Something we haven’t provided to Rhodes very often. Hopefully with him playing alongside Hooper, and with Reach on the wing and Bannan playing further forward we will create more chances.  Then just need another decent winger on the right side in January

When we had a good side, Jordan Rhodes wasn’t what we needed at all and we had far better options for how we played.

 

This season, it’s absolutely criminal that we didn’t play to his strengths, because he’s the only goal scorer in the entire squad.
