No matter your views on our current lack of stripes, surely we can all agree that black shorts elevate a Wednesday kit?

Just look at them in their inky dark glory. Simply spiffing...

Agree with the always wearing the home colours unless there is a clash, and wondered why the black shorts today, but I fully agree, let's keep them, Anyone know why we wore them. i appreciate it's close to remembrance Day but at least we wore poppies.

Villa's shorts are also white. You aren't required to change clashing shorts (just shirts and socks), but most teams do.

Blue shorts every time for me.

And me!!

Watched 'The Wednesday' since late 50's but never understood the insistence of some of our fans that we must have black shorts.

Blue is nice, but black looks a lot smarter. Also, only us wear (well wore) blue and white stripes with black shorts.

I agree to a degree.

Though worth remembering we have only ever won anything with blue and white socks with either a hoop or white top hoop

It's why I feel so sorry for Chris Waddle...

If we hadn't messed with the sock tops he'd probably have that FA Cup winners medal that he so craved.

You sure about that?

Historical kits and Pathé news says otherwise!
