Poppy badge with owl

Recommended Posts

I saw a few wearing them as well but I'm not sure if they're "official" therefore the money probably doesn't go to the proper cause. I'd be willing to buy one and then make a contribution to the poppy appeal if I knew where you can get one.

Saw few people wearing these Tuesday, grateful if anybody can tell me where I can buy one

There's a guy who sells on Ebay with the username Owls4effa57

His name is Tony, he's a top bloke, I've bought loads of different badges from him

Message him on Ebay, he might have got one

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Really gets under my skin this type of thing , why do folk have to gatecrash such a worthy long standing charity

Can't folk show a bit more respect instead of slapping club logos on a poppy

Tacky

Plus none of the money goes to the charity the Poppy represents

Absolutely agree with you even though i don't wear a poppy ( i still buy them i just put my money in and tell em to sell mine twice )

Perhaps the British legion could get in on the act if there's a demand?

Check out the link I've posted, poppyshop.org ran by the Legion.

Point taken , inviting free loaders unfortunately

No doubt mate, just the way of the world.

Would be nice to think anyone getting a pin from ebay and the likes would still throw a couple of quid in the direction of the Legion.
