Ronnie Starling
Thought he had a decent game and given a run of games will get better.
Pompeyowl
Absolutely agree. Would liked to have seen him pull the trigger when he broke with all that space instead of releasing wide, but really have no reason to criticise him tonight. Looked solid to me.
Shifty Powers
I personally think he offers a lot more than say David Jones who you would argue plays a similar role. Think Butterfield will be suited a lot more away from home when we need to dig in and be a bit more physical. Could be a good replacement for Hutchinson until he is back for. Id still have kept Winnall - but Butterfield was good tonight.
Exceptionally_Large
Arguably his job... but seemed when he was running with the ball with space in front of him, he was still looking sideways for someone to pass to. Best I’ve seen him play tho, more exciting than Jones
james o connor
Another head scratching signing . Not what we really needed and a better player went the other way. But . His performance was Better than any of our other midfielders have been churning out , Bannan aside
Socialist_Owl
David Jones, step aside.

Bigger Guns
I honestly thought he was absolutely garbage. All he did was pass sideways and mostly backwards. Potter mk2. Cannot see what anyone sees in him but guess it's all about opinions.
meggoisgod
Very underwhelmed. Lee is still our best all round midfielder imo

Lee is still our best all round midfielder imo Squad game and results have been s**t recently so a change was needed. Butterfield came in and did a good job we need that sort of midfield in there if we are going to be playing Reach, Wallace and Bannan as 3 of the midfield
i used to be sc_owl
He was ok. Got caught in possession and a few wayward passes. Other than that, it was a competent performance.

Lee is still our best all round midfielder imo Lee has been poor and his cameo performance tonight was shocking. I think its fair to say you cant judge players on 10 or 15 minutes from the bench as many have done with the likes of Butterfield and Rhodes. Pulsar
It's amazing how much polar opposites fans see of players. I thought he had a very solid 'Bart Williams' type game and is quicker to the ball than and more solid than David Jones so that's a big plus. SallyCinnamon
Thought he did alright. But much rather have Winnall in the squad, bagged another 2 for Derby tonight.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
Butterfield had a good game He was always available, wanted the ball, showed a few nice touches He needs games, was out a long time with a bad injury He isn't a Keiran Lee, but he's a better option than Jones I like players that want the ball, and don't get hussled off it Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife. Bluesteel
It’s ridiculous that he’s been held off from playing for so long. He is one of the few we have who is physical and we have lost a lot of physical battles recently. David Jones gettIng nudged off the ball by David Brooks still winds me up. Pathetic
