This idea isn't for everyone but is absolutely massive in the states and now over here.

The idea of getting a mystery surprise box of ltd edition merch is brill for many people out there who like the idea of it (or who have seen the stuff in the boxes that have gone out before)

The idea would be to make them so brilliant that word of mouth convinces everyone to subscribe to them

A Mystery Surprise Box?>???.....From the Owls shop!!!......No thanks mate...I'll stay totally unsurprised thx

They already did this a few years ago at the shop

"Buy a mystery box" - think it was £25quid

I ordered one. It was bobbar.

Yeah

I'd not let our retail department anywhere near this though - it should be put together by people who know and understand what the fans want

This could work if done right by the right people

You could do a sorta blue and white Kinder egg...where a little model Wednesday player popped out...and every Saturday the actual Barry Bannan popped out of one wiv a ticket for a free shirt...

Imagine all the kids starin' at the box wiv all the eggs in...to see if one moved...

I think this is a great idea...

I'd actually give it to the Chairman's son as a project in terms of what kind of stuff goes in the crate

He'd understand the idea and I reckon would do a great job at helping make sure it was bang on

Yep, the multi millionaire public schoolboy will know exactly what young Harry from Deepcar would like and what his parents can afford. :columbo:
