WalthamOwl
Think he needs a smaller first job before coming to a giant like us. :-)
alan48
Could say the same about Waddle , Sheridan , Palmer , Wilson , Worthington ,even Pearson . Doesn't guarantee they are any good at management even though they were great players . Irish and big Nige might be worth a punt though. P S why dont I get hearfs on my posts anymore - doesn't anybody love me ? Edited October 24, 2017 by alan48 query 4
Bobster01
Can see your reasoning but I'd rather take on someone who has proven themselves, even in the lower leagues.
steveger
Pearson possibly, Worthington, no thanks, would rather have NO legends as managers though, would ruin them Edited October 24, 2017 by steveger

ramone
Its a big no from me. For me, i think he's a boring personality and would struggle to see him motivate a team.

matthefish2002
I am sure someone will give Ryan Giggs a managers job soon if he wants one but don't think he would be a good fit for Wednesday. Want someone with more experience especially in England. Will hopefully play a more English type game as the current European style bores me. optimisticowl
IMHO he would benefit from one of the Neville’s or Scholes as his number 2, they would not need to re-locate so no disruption there, and as for the ‘smaller’ club, we are a smaller club to these guys. Owl droppings
Bobby Charlton was a great player but an unsuccessful manager. The two don’t go hand in hand. Mourinho and Fergie were average players but great managers.

I see your Charlton and raise you a Guardiola and Zidane and even Hoddle and Keegan It depends on the person really not the level of success they reached as a player, IMO
Internationowl
He had an affair with his brother's wife. Let's not forget that. His brother's wife. Why is that ok with everyone because he was quite good at football once?
nile
Touted with premier clubs but some see him not good enough for us. i would rather take a chance with giggs than some foreign manager we know nothing about.
