Emerson Thome Posted October 21, 2017 Share Posted October 21, 2017 The Hooper one is a great tackle by Davies. No penalty. The first Fletcher one I think is a penalty. The defenders left arm shoves him in the back as he is off balance - hard to tell how much force, but anything that knocks him off balance is a penalty, and a red card. Not as clear cut as Loovens, but I would have given it. The second Fletcher one, shortly before he was substituted was the most frustrating. He's trying to find space in the box and Wisdom has hold of his shirt for a clear 2-3 seconds. Blatent cheating, although hard for the ref to pick up on as it is off the ball. Looks like he just fell over to me. From the camera angle we can see the defenders left arm reach out but the defenders body obscures whether there is contact. My instinct is that he did push him, not hard, but enough when sorting your feet out to push Fletcher off balance. It wasn't clear cut but I think more often than not its a penalty.
