What really do they do on the training pitch?

Recommended Posts

We are the only side that goes backwards after 2 weeks on the training pitch. Be interesting to know how much of that the manager spent back in Portugal.

Saying that I think his tactics and telling the players they are playing Real Madrid and not Bolton are more confusing than helping.

The fact that after 30 minutes a note was sent on. Substitutions yet again at HT in an endeavour to change things. This is after 2 weeks prep time FFS

Yup, to concur with what everyone is saying, get the ginger one in and let him have a good go at it.

Secondly bring in Sheridan now he's unemployed for training set peices.. Anyone e remember the Brazilian one where Palmer or wilson would roll it back to him and hed flick it up and half volley a peach of a dipper over the wall. Ahhh the days when we had invention with set peices.
