Something isn't right

Recommended Posts

I'm one of those that tends to back managers to the hilt.

For what it's worth I'm not sure we'll see any change.

But there is clearly something not right.

Now I don't judge players based on how much they cost either, I judge them on what I see on the pitch.

And I see good players, players other clubs would be delighted to have, looking bang average.

Something is wrong.

Been wrong for a while.

I'm not even sure it's tactical either.

I think it's motivation.

I see these players and can't help but think with a motivator they'd be higher.  Ok we hate hum,  but I'm only using him as an example, you look at someone like Warnock. We'd be higher. Dyche another. A man who gets the best out of men.

I'm not even drunk.

Frustrating.

So....so frustrating.

I agree with you. We need a new head coach.

There does seem to be a motivation issue.

It's hard to explain the number of games under CC whereby we don't get going till half time.

Oddly enough, the players do seem to respond to whatever CC has to say at half time, so the question is why can't he say what he says at half time before the game starts?!

We can’t stand teams who close us down. Certain players can’t hack it when they aren’t given time on the ball. We’re great against teams who want to play football, give us time and space and we are dangerous. Close us down and we are useless.

not just this season but since Carlos came....and he has done NOTHING in 3 seasons to address it.

Agreed, Snoots. 3 points  lost to a side that is going back down to the pub league. Time for some fresh impetus?

If Harry Redknapp would work for free for a couple o' months just to land the job on a provisional basis with a view to a rolling deal like Carlos I'd consider him. Last chance saloon time for us both but he plays attacking direct football, he knows a good signing, promotion and prem experience and Brum are utter dogger but he did keep them up and I would be interested to see what he could do with our squad on this basis if he would come.

Absolutely this - It was obvious from the start of season that teams had us sussed - too many players go missing when hustled by the opposition.

Said for ages something aint right, all these players we have who are really good players are just not performing, we should be beating most teams comfortably with the squad we have available to us, we should be comfortable in games, we should be attacking teams and scoring goals for fun , but here we are struggling against the worst team in this league, who could have had a hat full to be fair, it's not a new thing this it's been like this since after our 1st Wembley visit, Carlos has changed and changed the team for the worse, he's holding the team back.

Even the most deluded among us can't realistically claim we will be up there at the end of the season unless something changes, and i dont mean for just one match, like the Leeds game the other week or the Norwich one last season, it's not good enough....

We are that bad as a team, the pigs and Cardiff are joint top at the moment. If that doesn't tell us some thing then........ there's no hope.   A load of posters were spaffing earlier about the so called reserve side we could put out against Bolton. So yes, there' s something radically wrong down at S6. This as to be sorted this year not next.

Exactly.  The project has run its course.

We're seeing apathy, tune out, and stale ideas.

Nail on head.
