A few contenders today. Hooper, Bannan, Lee, Reach all excellent. 

 

After our usual slow start, we were very good. Shame we can't perform like that consistently.

Also I really appreciated Bannan's brilliance today and he is now definitely not on my naughty list, he was superb a puppet master today. A great response from him.

Hooper for his goals but Fletcher did a great job up front. Should have buried that header though.

Hooper but several in the frame, shame he couldn't get three missed a sitter.

 

Think Im right in saying that but for the disallowed goal at Brum should have been 8 in 7 and 7 on the trot wonder if our stats gurus know if that could have been a record although I suppose it's not relevant anymore....then again we could claim it as a record like Hudds do.

Bannan was probably the best player on the pitch today to be fair, just a shame he can't finish like Lee can.

Went for Bannan, purely because he made me get off my seat on numerous occasions.

 

Hooper, Lee, Fletcher and Wallace also excelled, but that was far and away the best team performance of the season. Well done to each and every one of them!

10 Hooper - what a player. What a performance. A goalie's fingernail from a truly deserved hat-trick.

 

9.5 - Bannan and Lee. Magnificent energy and quality.

 

9.5 - Lees. Magnificent. Stooped everything. More positive coming out of defence too.

 

9 - Fletch. Bullied them all aft. What a duo we have in him and Hoops.

 

8 - most others

 

6 - Joost - a worry defensively. Skinned 3 times for clear chances.

 

 

 

Carlos - 10 - not a fan at all, but that was a performance. Pressing, energy, pace, crosses. Your players have it all Carlos. Just let them use it.

Decisions decisions, who to vote for ?

Nice when the team put in a display and the choice is a little more difficult.

Feck it Wildsmith gets my vote for the clean sheet and his excellent distribution.

Gone for Hooper. Not just the goals but his team play. Very clever football from him today.

That said, a good quality of performance by the whole team and plenty of courage. Lets keep it up!

Why have a dig at the coach after a performance like that.

He sent exactly the same team out last week to do the same but the players let him down however  it was Carlos who got in the neck.

Today they all performed better. 

 

MOM Fletcher. Best game he has had for us by a

So many good performances today, great team effort, thought the midfield was brilliant, Jones steady allowing the others to interchange and keep popping up all over the place.

Jones was terrific breaking up play and always available

Hooper and Bannan were the main men today - superb performances from both.

What a rollercoaster it is watching us   Its difficult to pick a MOM with so many outstanding contributions,Hooper for me ran Leeds ragged and created chances for others,mind you so did others,took his goals well unlucky not to bag a hatrick.

Thought YET ANOTHER linesman was going to cost us points at one stage,but need not have worried,we looked comfortable and assured,handle their spell of pressure well
