JoshTheOwl
Shows he’s just another thick footballer in the making.
TrickyTrev
Nice touch, clearly his heart is at the club.
sheffield_dave
Will be making a point about one of his mates getting the chance to shine in the first team and taking it with both hands. It's a point worth making. The George Hirst situation feels like something that will haunt us for far longer than Carlos is here.
Beholder
It was a great bit of skill. Don't see the problem with appreciating that.
fife_owl
I think that they are probably big mates from England matches. Would have been wiser to private message, though.

Like you say, it will haunt us for years to come if Hirst leaves and becomes a star.
TaxiMark
Did he play with Brooks for England together?

HirstWhoScoredIt
He doesn't play for us anymore. and he is mates with Brooks. Plus even the Wednesday players will be giving Hunt stick all week over that - so nowt to see in my opinion.

Agreed although in fairness given the garbage service our strikers get from our midfield, we could have Harry Kane up front and it'd not make much difference. 1
Guest Deleted member
He's been treated like crap by the club. Don't blame him
Shelley Owl
He's paid by the club and should know better. If it was another player who didn't play today (e.g. Palmer) he'd be crucified. No excuse
Apple
Disgraceful. Don't care who's son he is or the talent he has. Imagine this was a Liverpool player after a loss to Everton? They'd go mad.

MysticOwl
1. He may not have seen the game to know what happened there. 2. Maybe he knows the blade player?
legendaryswan
They both play in the same england squad, probably buds. Hes just admiring his contribution, the kid had a very decent game, only a couple og games back a section of their fans thought hed been thrown in too soon. prowl
I doubt Hirst will ever play for us. Situation seems entrenched, he will be off as soon as he can and we will get a pittance compared to his value.
malek
Why should he have any loyalty to the club ? Hjs father gave his all to the club, and was then made to go to Southampton. Still he was brought on as Wednesday fan. Done everything that was asked of him and more, brushed aside by CC, refused to be taken on pre season tour or given squad number. When it came time to talk about his new contract, he was blackmailed that he will loose year of development if he doesn't sign what we offered...
