owlZfan84
Absolute garbage. It was the defending today which cost us, not the lack of passion or blood & guts. It was like Sunday league defending today. Atrocious.
james o connor
Urm the bad defending doesn't hide the fact why are spineless and we didn't want it. The managers passive attitude was mirrored by the players lack of effort .
matthefish2002
Yes defending not good enough to put it mildly at times but was really dissapointed with rest of play today in general. Got impression Sheff United today understood what a big game it was to the supporters while we didnt.

Liam_Baggies
Attitude was the problem. It was appalling. Slow, lazy and almost content to be second best. The abysmal defending and sloppiness in possession stems through the above.

Lol, you missed our crisp, incisive passing all over the midfield? This match was lost all over the pitch. Rhubarb n Custard
Aside from the 4 they scored they created a handful of other very useful chances could easily have been 6. How many times did we expose their goal ? Twice. Aside from our defensive frailties we do not create enough real scoring opportunities given the amount of possession we routinely have. SallyCinnamon
They were more up for it. First half we were slow, predictable and went through the motions- just like a lot of first half displays at Hillsborough. We can't perform for 20 minutes in a game and expect to win inside that 20. Ronnie Starling
Did you not see the toothless performance of our midfield who couldn't attempt to challenge for a header or put a tackle in. They also seemed to think they had as much time in the world as they wanted. Not good enough and I'm sure cards were marked today amongst the fans. Too many of our players are nice decent professionals, doing ok. Reach, Lees, fletcher & hunt being 4 examples. Too nice too crap. No will too win. Big Ron's Sovereign
Them going 1-0 up after 2mins gave them an utilmate lift and us the opposite. Their 2nd was against the run of play. If we'd have kept the scoreline 2-2 for 2 minutes longer then I reckon we'd have won that

I'm sure the players will be OK, they will pocket their £15/20/25/30K plus a week and not give a fidlers fart. We've lost the edge that togetherness and team spirit that successful teams have.
