I didn't pick on him but overall he has been ineffective since he joined us. It needs discussing because at one point, he would have probably won that game on his own. Ridiculous. I've come up with JR because he was sent on as a sub to potentially change the game. He didn't. Now I am not saying that the result was his fault but if you bring on a 10m striker, you might expect him to have some sort of impact. The fact that he didn't (and hasn't done for numerous games now) is not his fault. However, we have spent 10 million pounds on a striker that rarely scores. I want JR to be a massive success at Wednesday but right now, it's not looking good is it? Tactics? I dont think we've helped his case bringing him on and playing him as a lone striker for much of the season, dont get me wrong Fletcher and Hooper deserve to start on merit but the way Rhodes has been used is criminal.
