sheriwozgod
Westwood - 4 - As good as the first and third goals were he should have done better, why was he so far off his line for third ? Hunt - 3 - Constantly jumped in and sold himself and constantly wasted posession Lees - 4 - As our most experienced defender he should be leading, but the fact is he looked frightened to death Von Aken - 2 - The lad has a future but this was a rude awakening, far too soft, him and Lees made Clarke look like Klinnsman Reach - 1 - He gets a point for the ball in for the second, other than that he was f***in awful, an abysmal display of so called defending, weak as f*** for someone his size......please put this idea he is a fullback to bed. Lee - 3 - I love Lee but the sad fact of the matter is he went missing big time today, never got involved and on the few occasions he got on the ball his touch was pi$$ poor. Bannan - 6 - Not his best game by far but at least WANTED the ball and tried to get us moving. Jones - 0 - Come on then !!! lets be avin you, all you beard stroking football sophistos who have been spaffing over him these last few weeks telling us how VITAL he is.....he was garbage.......a holding midfielder who cant tackle Wallace - 0 - Did nothing..............absolutely nothing Fletcher - 3 - never won a header all day and pretty much lost the ball every time he had it. Hooper - 6 - Good goal and was the one faintly bright spark in a first half that will live long in the memory for all the wrong reasons Joao - 7 - MOTM and he only played 45 mins which tells you all you need to know......sometimes took the wrong option but gave us impetus and drive............look at his impact today and think back and weep about the number of times we have brought Nuhiu on for 15 - 20 mins in the past. Butterfield - 2 - Sole contribution was to waste two corners by hitting the first man Rhodes N/A did he even touch the ball ? CC - 0 his response to being totally out fought and thought was basically to throw as many strikers as possible on the pitch. Awful, awful start AGAIN got the team shape all wrong and waited 45 mins to change it.............utd looked like scoring EVERY time they attacked and we looked impossibly weak and nervous, as much as it pains me Wilder had his team spot on and thoroughly deserved the win. Bouncing Owl
Hooper and Joao were 7's. There were a lot of 4's and a couple of 5's. I think that is probably generous as well.

james o connor
Westwood 2 - what the hell has happened to him gash every game now hunt 2- worst game in a wednesday shirt van aken 1 - a horror show lees 3 - like westwood , what the hell has happened to him reach 1 ripped to shreds by a teenager Wallace 3 needs replacing with a younger , faster model. bannan 5.5 as poor as the rest 1st half , better 2nd lee 3 did his best Darren Potter impression and became invisible fletcher 3 for the money he's on we could get better. Hooper 6 did alright , scored again. jones 1 utter rubbish . A disgrace. I'm lead to believe he's a Wednesday fan which makes it even more disgusting j wow 7 - finally we see something from him. Well done. Keep it up clueless 2. Outclassed by a bunch of snort beasts team needs a shake up . Manager should have gone with 3 or 4 others Edited September 24, 2017 by james o connor

mike312
Westwood 3 - Going through a bad patch. Slows the play down too much when we need tempo. Hunt - 3 Looks like he doesn't want to make a mistake rather than going for it. Lees- 4 Bullied by Clarke. Van Aken - 2 Looked poor today after a good couple of matches. Reach -2 Brooke's tore him a new one. Really poor today. Wallace -1 Did nothing. What has happened to his "good deliveries?" Lee - 3 Went missing again today. Bannan -5 Tried but wasn't himself in the first half Jones -2 Poor today, not sure what he brought to the team Fletcher -3 He doesn't win headers and his touch is often heavy Hooper -6 Our best player scored a goal out of nothing kept trying. Joao -6 scored of course and added some forward impetus just wish his close control was a bit better Butterfield - 2 Couldn't beat the first man with two corners. Rhodes - 1 Did he touch the ball? Overall beaten by the better team but things must improve massively over the coming week (s) or I fear for Cc. Yet again we came out too slowly. Yet again our crossing is awful. Yet again our dead balls are pathetic. Yet again Carlos is beaten by a lesser team (on paper.) Yet again we are trying to shoe horn players into the team out of position. It's all getting a bit tiresome for me.

WOLS
Westwood 4 (where was he for the first goal?) Hunt 5 (some good attacking play, some idiotic defending) Lees (some poor decisions and passes straight to the opposition - but he was not on his own in that) Van Aken 4 (better going forward than defending) Reach 5 (not a defender by nature and got found out several times) Wallace 5 (some good wing play but did not link up well with others) Bannan 4 (looked lost at times) Jones 2 (as poor as he often is, despite recently having improved) Lee 4 (only one bit of creative attacking play, but got lost in the middle of the field) Hooper 7 (he is one who consistently causes problems for the opposition, and you could see his frustration at the lack of support he was getting from his team mates) Fletcher 4 (kept trying, but working alone up front was isolated and comfortably dealt with by their defence). Joao 6 (scored a good goal but also got his legs tangled up underneath him a lot as usual) Rhodes 5 (does not look good enough to lay in this team, I'm afraid). Butterfield 5 (largely anonymous in his brief appearance). CC 2 (looked like genius when he switched to 4-3-3 after HT and Joao scored, but clearly not getting the best out of these players. Two goals came when the team had dropped concentration - the first and the third. Fletcher needed a strike partner rather than always being left in the box alone. Time may have run out for CC if we stagnate in mid-table).

kilbyj
Bannan was dog meat today, great when playing well as a whole but boy is he a passenger when were up against it. Him, reach, hunt, jones are so nesh in the challenge its pathetic. Westwood was bonk, lees shybo, wallace awful.... tactics awful. Only hooper can legitimately score over a 5 the rest can hang their heads in shame.
Ash77
Westwood 4 Hunt 4 Lees 4 Van Aken 0 looked at fault for all 3 in play goals. Lightweight, weak, slow, naive, positionally hopeless, not a cb on that, play him in jones/hutch role where mistakes cost less and distribution counts more or drop. Reach 4 inconsistent, lightweight, poor bar 1 good ball in Wallace 4 like reach got 1 decent cross in but abysmal, slow and predictable so 2/10 otherwise, need much better service to strikers, when crossing repeatedly hits 1st man or misses everyone, 32 years old now and boyd looks very similar, no proper pacy wingers Bannan 6 Jones 1 slow, invisible, weak, old, predictable, cc signing personified Lee 6 Hooper 7 Fletcher 1 overrated due to benefiting from hoopers play but slow, poor on ground like sitter at cardiff, rhodes a proven goalscore needs a chance next to hooper or even joao away from home. Joao 6 head still goes down but at least made impression from bench Rhodes 4 not an impact player bring him off for joao if need be Butterfield 1 a little wallace clone, consistently cant beat 1st man in acres. CC 1 wasted a fortune on slow overpaid flops, a positive pacy 20 year old was MOM today someone who would not make bench with cc's negative attitude. We cant cross and set pieces are woeful, what do they ponce around at in training other than tippy tappy 5 yard passes? Always fails in big games and values nuhiu over players like matias on bench. No width or pace, too easy to nullify, saving grace was defence and gk but that seems to have gone too, will inevitably fail so may as well look for a proven manager or wagner type now.
