That Waddle Goal in '93

Recommended Posts

Looking through some old stuff yesterday and came across this wonderful photo - not an angle often seen but what a fantastic image - and below a resume of stats from the match ;-)

Can't argue with those stats!!

Great photo Dunsby,

Where did you find this ?

Is there a photographer details etc ?

Got a really lonely wall here that's dying for a large print of this

We totally dominated that match but I was so worried that they were going to nick a poxy win because we missed so many chances. Thankfully it wasn't the case.

We missed so so so so many chances.  Their keeper was immense, beyond praise.  But goodness me I thought it was going to slip away.  That sick feeling at half time having played so well and still be level.  I remember the chap next to me, must have been late 40s, started crying after one of the innumerable misses.

Should have been 10-1.

imagine the pain of losing the biggest derby in history- no wonder the pigs are so bitter.

Certainly would I've never seen it from this angle

A canvas would look great , if it has a photographer noted it shouldn't be hard to trace one would think?

I'm sorry but I don't agree with those stats. They didn't even get in our half 10 times let alone have 10 shots.....unless hoofball clearances collected by Woods count as shots :stuwinky:
