northeastowl
I'm guessing these are lower tier? Upper to released after these sell out? I thought Bolton had decent priced tickets, wasn't expecting it to be that much!
Ever the pessimist
As it says - initial allocation. Fully expect to shift these and more. Going to take the lad to this one as it is not too far and not likely to get too rowdy for him. Also as not going to Derby the week after as I am sick of bloody losing there. sturutter
It actually says upper tier. Why are they selling the upper tier first?! It doesn't say anything about an initial allocation on the official site. I really hope they're not mugging us off with a reduced allocation, and putting us upper tier so that we can't be seen? JoshTheOwl
Just checked on Twitter. They were in upper tier too
Sam779
They always sell the upper tier first now at Bolton. That way they can charge higher prices as it's always been more expensive in the upper than the lower. We can get more if we sell these.
sturutter
Cheers Sam. Got some mates wanting general sale, how would you rate their chances? Im presuming that we sell the 2,145 for sure, and it's whether the 4k ish would sell out before general sale

Not only should we be able to get approx 4,800 (Leeds did earlier in the season), but some people will probably hold off until the lower tier becomes available. Bolton are desperate for the cash and would be daft not to give us as many tickets as possible.
sturutter
Great, cheers Sam How many are you guessing we'll sell in the end? We did sell 6,000 for Preston (I know that was increased by it being first day, though) Edited September 21, 2017 by sturutter
Sam779
Blimey, that's anyone's guess I suppose and will obviously depend on the next 3 games. A good week and we could get 4,000+.
sturutter
You know more than me, but I'm going to bet on a slow sell out. International week before, and a lot will know they can't get any other away tickets til maybe Ipswich (with villa and derby selling out) Edited September 21, 2017 by sturutter

However I think Bolton are being quite strict with the order of sales so all away ST holders would be put in the upper. Not sure on how sales have gone today and I've missed the boat to check - will try and find out tomorrow before I head off to Birmingham.

Quite a few of us wanting to go so was gonna wait for general sale. Yep - definitely. The only problem will come if people wait for lower tier and the upper doesn't sell out though, but I'd like to think that wouldn't happen.
