From boy to man, and man to grave, to clackers from rosettes

From Wembley down to Wycombe, the trip hasn't finished yet.

 

When Custer met his maker, Sheffield Wednesday played

With Rorkes drift full o Zulus, The Wednesday plied their trade

As Jack the Ripper wandered, and as Ned Kelly shot

The Owls were playing somewhere, likely ..as not

 

So as we sit and ponder, Carlos in or Carlos out,

Give yerself a shake and think, what Wednesday are about

Its gone beyond a football, its gone beyond a kit

Its cast from steel, its blue and white...and you are part of it
