Daftest Moments as a Fan

Recommended Posts

Going back on a previous post, my Dad's mate worked as a BP tanker driver back in the 70's. Anyway not wanting to miss night games if he was working he would often park up the tanker and nip off to the game. Which was ok apart from he had a large anorak with BP blazoned across it and in BP green. He stood out like a sore thumb especially when the crowds were a bit lower back then

Lee Chapman returning with Forest in the late 80's and Lesley Ash had just appeared topless in some TV drama

As the Forest players stood for a corner at the Kop end, someone shouted "Chapman. We've all seen your wife's t*ts"

Even he found it funny lol

Port Vale away in 1976 and the announcer coming over the tannoy requesting "Will the Port Vale fans please evacuate the spion kop" as hundreds of Wednesday fans charged across the pitch towards the home end!

It was a very big playing area. Knackered by the time I got to their end.

Reyt day out!!

Doesn't @KivoOwl have a similar story concenring going to a game and needing a sh*t?

Anyone got that picture of Osama Bin Laden trying to make friends with a local copper at a fancy dress away game?

That was Stockport away last day of the season one year.

Carnage!! On a drinking scale. I'm pretty sure everyone in the away end was hammered.

Owls fan who climbed the flagpole at Orient away...musta been the 70's..You could walk all the way around the ground.....One Owls fan shinned up a flagpole in the home end and the police surrounded the bottom of it...Cue hundreds of Owls fans wandering around that end to offer sorta "mutual support"..It ended up like an hostage situation....Owls fan clinging to the top, and other Owls fans negotiating with the police.....(Some were shoutin' JUMP tho..just for a laugh)...Fair play to the police though..They let him down and everyone wandered back to the away end...
