Some of our fans on We Love Sheffield Wednesday facebook group have me in stitches, when Butterfield signed last night one reckoned we didn't need anymore central midfielders because we've already got seven and they included Forestieri on list.

In seconds Winnall went from one of our strikers who can't score to Lionel Messi.

The Irish Owls supporters group is full of negative bile. Had to leave it ages ago for my sanity

All the F******n faux outrage at the prices when everyone knows it would sell out at whatever the prices were.

Everyone all precious and concerned about FFP and then moan when we charge top dollar for a game we could sell out regardless.

Get real, decent players, ground improvements don't come out of F******n council tax that they can just put up every year at the drop of a hat when they fancy it when there fat pensions are getting squeezed.

About time one or two got a bit of commercial reality and let's not forget, it will only be the now and againers who pick their games and them dirty scrubbers that will be paying the full whack.

I'm a now and againer who's been priced out, I'm sorry for not being a true fan anymore.

Morning Moanstalk.

It's like we've been transported back two seasons.

In the priority list of moans, this season was obviously the generic ever popular CC out one.

Then it was the 'no centre backs' moan. CC hasn't a clue.

When we signed two very promising centre backs, they were the WRONG centre backs, cue CC doesn't know what he's doing, get him out.   (again).

The shirt thing, absolute meltdown, DCs a t**t because he ditched the stripes and then the world was going to end because some commercial glitches meant there was some delay.

Enter the shirts and some have the nerve to say they actually like it and the quality looks fine (apparently).

Team completely unbalanced, overloaded with strikers and no solid midfielder.  CC hasn't a clue.

Unloads one of the strikers to bring in a solid midfielder who seems to be quite highly rated. (apparently).

So here we are, most of the boxes ticked, those toe rags who run the club are denying us our moaning fodder.

Ahh bliss, ticket prices for the Pig Fest are announced and shock horror the club aren't giving them away.

Probably the highest profile, most anticipated game for ages and people are saying the club should subsidise it.

There is talk that it is "ETHICALLY' wrong and 'MORALLY' wrong and Moanstalk goes into a complete fit of the vapours and self righteous indignation at prices, (for pay per match) that if people were honest they were probably expecting anyway.

However now all the main moaning topics have been removed from the agenda (apart from the generic ones), this raised its head at just the right time and gave much needed impetus to the permanently outraged.

Probably controversial, but maybe we need to start accepting the fact that Football clubs are now run as businesses and the commercial activity (and price structuring) for any individual club needs to be assessed on its own merits. (Pointless comparing us and where we are in our progress with say Tottenham or Man Utd for eg).

If people find this distasteful, maybe do what the disenfranchised Man Utd fans did when they started 'United of Manchester' or whatever they're called, because football at our level is only going one way and as with all businesses what you spend has to be paid for somewhere along the line.

Shouting and screaming that it is all so unfair and threatening not to go, when you have no intention of not going (especially when it's a huge game) or ridiculous talk of 'boycotts' is just disingenuous and basically grandstanding. Either vote with your feet or leave it alone.

We know all the people who find the prices abhorrent, but we've already been there and done it ad infinitum, it aint going to change and it's getting boring.

Have you done a diagram to show how the dissenting moaners match up topic by topic?

If football was a normal business 90% of clubs would have gone the way of Woolworths, BHS etc. It's always been a lot more than that - clubs have long played on the local community, tradition, family links.  What we are doing may be "modern" but we are the worst example in our division and it's perfectly valid to object to that.

Maybe the ones who can't see that the club and Chansiri can do owt wrong are boring too. They're generally the most insulting.

But can't stay to chat I have to iron my Sainsbury's uniform - I'm off to do the weekly shop. Come on you orange and burgundy wizards. The wife thinks I'm crazy supporting a business like this but what does she know?

So let's get this straight then Rob, do you think £37 " cheapest adult ticket btw" is a justified price for a championship game that is on TV? Beggars belief really.

I might be in the minority here but I say fleece the scrubbers for every last penny we can!!

If they decide to boycott the match then that's less support for their team on the day.

But by fleecing them we have to fleece our own, we have to offer them the same price as our home stand, same view, which is the kop.

It's also less revenue going into our coffers.

£42 for an away fan at this level is an outrage no matter who the opposition is.

Unfortunately for football fans is the fact that club owners know full well they won't take their money elsewhere and support another team. It's not like choosing Tesco over Asda or Morrisons over both of them.

United will sell the tickets simply because it's a game they've been waiting 6 years for.

It doesn't make the price right though.
