Looks good on the ball but not one tackle or header on that footage.

That's what I thought. Perhaps he's that good he doesn't need to. Reminded me of Paul Warhurstlol

Joost van Aken is leaving for Sheffield Wednesday. SC Heerenveen plans to reach an agreement on a transfer of the 23-year-old central defender, who did not compete against ADO The Hague (1-2 wins).

Van Aken was sitting there in the gallery to run no risk in anticipation of an agreement. Jurgen Streppel did not even count on his defender at the end of the year, on whom a million bids were issued that made the deal "in a hurry." A definitive transition seems to be coming soon. The defender can sign a multiannual contract at the current 16th of the English Championship (second level). The English started moderately after fourth place last season. They add all sails to a selection that can compete for promotion to the Premier League before the end of the transfer market. Aachen is regarded as a top priority.

Interesting if it's us  v Lazio to sign him.

Lazio find Dutch  centre halves almost every season who end up being class.  As a paid member of their supporters group I shall ask the question how likely it is for us to sign him .

Do us a favour, pretty please and tell them he's shuffle and they should sign some other Dutch centre back :ghoulguy:

Lets hope some unpronounceable Turkish team aren't checking owlstalk for their next signing
