I would think the owner(s) believe that, and I can't see any way for Carlos to keep or sell him without their say-so. So this situation is screwing up Carlos' team planning, but it's also where he is up to the job. Supporters aren't in on the team sheet choices, which is bound to get SNAFU'd by injuries, abscences and players' reasonable and unreasonable demands. I think Carlos will sort it out, whether or not the Club decide to sell or keep FF, and that probably depends on getting a good price for him.
