Talented guy, but a prime example of a player having had too much smoke blown up his arse. Has star quality - and he knows it. I believe we could sell and replace with someone maybe less talented, yet more effective, to improve the team overall.

Match winners aren't easy to find. We've got 1.

Plenty of solid teams out there who never really succeed because they don't have a Forestieri. If we were to sell him and sign a CB and a midfielder for example, I believe we'll become one of those teams.

We'll need to replace him as well, imo.

Sorry but that's just complete nonsense.

He's been the number 1 reason we've been able to challenge for promotion for the last 2 seasons.

Without FF fit, happy and firing, we're a bang average championship team.

Your last line made some sense about a year or more ago. No longer.

Go back as recent to far back as you want and compare our results with him starting and without him starting. You will get a big shock when you realise how far you have to go back for him to have been worth a starting place on a regular basis.

Unless you are going back into 2016, Our results have been far better without him. Even prior there was nothing in it.

Here is every match against Championship oppos over the last 32 games:-

With FF

L L D D D W L L W W W D L W D W

Without FF

W D D W W W W W W D L L W D W W

Count back any number of games you chose and compare with and without. It hits you in the face.

What was the last match he won for us?

i rate his talent, but not his temperament. He's sabotaging our start to the season for the second year running, and he isn't winning us matches even when he does make it onto the pitch. Too much emphasis and reliance on one player is damaging to the group.

More effective on the left. Doesn't wanna play there. That itself is a problem. I'd happily trade him for an Adomah or Sako - or even Johnny Russell. Burke was my ideal, but that's clearly unrealistic.

I know you're a big FF fan mate - like many others I prefer to see him wide left playing in a slightly deeper role but for me should be playing regularly.

I do think he could be a reyt asset but I think that he really needs to be part of a settled side and not one that's being chopped and changed all the time. Said it last night, seemed like a bunch of blokes who'd never met each other before at times yesterday.

Does this research mean that game where we were struggling and he came off the bench and score the winner count against him?

Ruined by been constantly rotated, played out of position and been the scapegoat for many!!

class player managed badly imo.

Stop re-writing history to suit your agenda against the manager.

Hes ruined himself by being a greedy, petulant spoilt little bobbar.

Totally unprofessional performance from him last night. His best pal Winnall was just as bad. Refusing to pass to each other. They'd both be out of the door this morning if I was manager

Cardiff in April was it?

Norwich (goal and 2 assists), Huddersfield at home (crucial 2nd goal and MOM performance), Wolves away (unplayable), Huddersfield away ( winning goal and MOM), Wigan (winning goal), Villa (winning goal).....

Off the top of my head. How many points is that? Far more the season before. You know no one else in our squad can compete with that.

Of course that doesn't mean we wouldn't have won those games if someone else was playing, but it's just speculation.

FF being a proven match winner, is not speculation.

When you have a player who you know can regularly win you games, you flipping keep em. Imagine how productive he'd be if we actually bought players to compliment him and got the best from him.

If this is true they both need to go.

Really? He's started 2 games this season. Virtually everyone agreed he was our best outfield player at Preston.

He's barely played any competitive football since his injury at the back end of last season. An excuse that's always thrown out to explain the poor form of some of our less productive attackers.

Honestly some of the comments towards FF from some fans are embarrassing. So spiteful. So needy. How dare this man not play at his best every second he's in a Wednesday shirt! Absolute bullshit.

It’s nothing he hasn’t brought on himself by his own actions though is it. Fans like players who demonstrate some affinity to the shirt and who don’t cause dressing room issues. Forestieri appears to have bought into his own hype and it seems that he always puts his own interests above that of the team.

Maybe I’m old fashioned but I want to see players who pull on the Wednesday shirt to be proud of doing so and who see playing for us as being about more than just a pay day.

Hanging out at u23 match yesterday to support the lads, sure sounds like someone who closed the door on swfc.

Get out of town pal.

I could post an instagram photo about the ballet. I'd still hate it. It's all lip service and it's a game to him and people like you believing it are the problem.

I cant believe you've actually posted this. Staggering

Based on your previous, I'd be amazed if you've done this accurately and fairly.

Personally I think 442 is a big part of our problem and we won't ever see the true potential of FF (and others) playing that way.
