Suzuki_San
Nobody picked up Hunt's position when he was off the pitch injured, waving to get back on. They made a simple pass out wide to McGeady who was just in an acre of space. Can't blame Westwood, he thought he could get it. Who's responsibility should it have been? Wallace? Jones? Ah well...one of those things. I imagine someone will get a telling off and we'll hopefully not see it happen again, as it's cost us 2 points at home.
Taximark
This is why that rule is.a joke , not making excuses for Westwood either . If a keeper gets injured does he have to wait to come on ?
modboy
Reach got sucked in too. Perhaps what happens when you play a winger at LB and have a natural LB at CB, and your spare LB on the bench. Fair play to Reach and Pudil they were outstanding in the second half, as was Bannan
sonofbert2
Westwood clanger. He drops two or three every season and totally forgivable given how many he stops. Let's not make daft excuses though.
OxOwl
Just seen it on SSN.Reach Puddle and Bannan watched it go in! School boy stuff cost us that Deffo. Took the wind out the crowd and players for 40 mins
asteener1867
In real time..from the Kop, it honestly looked like the ref didn't wave Hunt straight back on from the injury..So westwood dashed over to play right back!!!...f.ookin' ridiculous I know, but thats what it looked like...He did a similar thing 4 minutes later..So maybe he thought Hunt was injured again F.ook knows actually
Animis
Why wasn't Hunt waved back on the pitch; they effectively exploited his position whilst off the pitch and the ref waited until they'd just about scored both waving him back on. When he went off a second time, he was waved straight back on the pitch. I was surprise the players and crowd didn't make more of it, but everyone seemed in a daze. OhForAnotherShez
Can't understand why Hunt wasn't waved back on quicker, or indeed if he did before the goal (I watched the ball as the goal was approached).

OwlofOliveGrove
Westwood apologised to the fans in the stands after the game about the goal. Admitted fault. Good lad, mistakes happen, lets move on.
