Both invested heavily in squad. Both kept the nucleus of the team for a few years. Similar style of football for both. Both have an abundance of options. Both have big expectations. Decent strikers in their own ways but who's going to supply them? They've sold their most productive attacking player (Ince) and don't exactly score many anyway. The Night-Owl Posted August 4, 2017 Share Posted August 4, 2017 I think if Sunderland can sort out their defence they will do quite well. They look creative and threatening. But lack confidence and look poor at the back but they were the better team and should have won. Derby will improve, look like a ugly team away from home but will be strong at homeland they've a strong squad.
