They've got an effective, ugly grinding out but direct play up to Martin style with midfield support. Similar to how Rowett's Birmingham played and ground out results.

Thankfully different doesn't mean better though. Whatever they've been doing in past years hasn't done them much good, whereas our style (or two relatively different ones we've tried) have almost got us promoted twice.

I think we have mixed it up..

 

We tend to pass it around from side to side and back alot, then boot it. 

 

The long balls from Westwood have often brought goals

Sunderland deserve to be at least level but their defence looks shaky and if Derby attack them more in the second half they could get a couple more goals. But Sunderland look like scoring more too. Sunderland look the better going forward but Derby look stronger at the back.
