They've got an effective, ugly grinding out but direct play up to Martin style with midfield support. Similar to how Rowett's Birmingham played and ground out results. Whatever they've been doing in past years hasn't done them much good, whereas our style (or two relatively different ones we've tried) have almost got us promoted twice. But Sunderland look like scoring more too. Sunderland look the better going forward but Derby look stronger at the back.
