Huddersfield went up with a team of loans and ordinaries, it wasn't a tough league.

Even Newcastle lost a lot of games.

it looked tough because we setup to make it look harder than it is.

Agreed.

Press Conferences made out that teams like Burton were Barca in disguise. So did our line-ups and cautious play.

However, onwards and upwards. He may have a more positive approach this year.

Computer nonesense of course, but the rankings are broadly what most pub discussions would end up with.

We start our campaign with...

18th away

16th home

17th home

4th away

24th away

Hope we look to dominate as we should, and get off to a really strong start.

You omitted the Udders manager being a key factor in their achievement.

Undoubtably an effect but he still put out players, who except for the loans were average to below average championship players. Reading got to the final too with a fairly unspectacular squad. Too many cases of weaker teams competing to say it's just a manager thing imo.

If we setup to attack and bag goals we'd have them flying in. We shouldn't be struggling to score against, Rotherham, Burton Albion and Blackburn.

All these teams were reasonably successful against us.

Also on the Talksport website they ranked the grounds - put Hillsborough 5th. Good to know that impartial observers still like it.

Behind Villa Park, Stadium of Light, Elland Road and Pride Park.

Only 2 of the top flight are new bowls? How's that work?  Hillsborough is facked and needs knocking:ghoulguy:
