Due to Oldham.....I went down and bought also....and got chased around Derby after the game, one lad jumped over a wall by the river to escape, no idea if he ended up in it. Southend by ICO...bricks and skinheads... Great away days back then...true invasions.....but there's definitely benefits to today's more sedate events, far less stress for old farts. UTO. I don't remember that. I went to Derby 3 or 4 times in the early 80's and only remember the problem when we were banned. Just turned up on the day and paid on the gate though. I think this was the game where Robert Maxwell tried to cash in on our big followings by increasing ticket prices to £4 when average price was about £1.50. Wednesday fans boycotted it. Me included.
