I remember Neil Ruddock getting some stick to the point he stuck 2 fingers up at the kop whilst defending a corner.

Im sure he was doing the thumb n finger rubbing thing "loadsamoney" style at us after we were chanting about the sheer size of him...thought he took it well and seemed to enjoy the banter!!

Neal Bishop of Notts County got a massive earful, and then got sent off for diving which is embarrassing for two reasons: one, because diving is sh*t and two, because diving when you're Notts County midfielder Neal Bishop is the absolute worst.

Ade akinbiyi when he played for Burnley just afyer leaving the pigs.

Warmed up in front of the kop as a sub.

Think kop was singing

"Your s*** and your on the bench.

Around 2007 I think. Was funny.

He loved it tho.

Not a footballer but the loudest and most hostile abuse I can remember at S6 (apart from the big Ron "Judas" game), was reserved for George Courtenay in a night cup game vs Derby, he'd sent either Hirst or Chapman off and at half time nearly the whole ground wanted to rip his head off, it was the first time I'd ever seen a ref wait in the centre circle with his linos for half a dozen coppers to escort them off the pitch, the boos and whistling were deafening.

Lee Chapman.

And Ian Snodin. We tried for him for years. And Norman Whiteside, who was a brilliant player.

As as for other players we hated, include Pat Van Den Hauwe, Kenny Dalglish and Mickey Gynn.

I remember that one! Chapman was sent off in front of the dugout and Wilko had to be held back as even he went straight for Courtney!! Won 1:0 if I recall - Bradshaw??
